Why Science Centres are needed in our society?
Science is at the core of the human civilization from
the time when it starts flourishing on earth and plays a significant role in the development of human. With the development of humans, their curiosity increase and they are curious to know about things happening around them. Hence with the development of Humans, Science becomes more and more prominent to know about the changes and facts behind them. When people, who work in the welfare of human beings in the society, start thinking about to make science popular in the society, then one question arise ―How do we make Science and Scientific Principles popular among general people and how do we encourage then to adopt science for the higher studies‖? Later these questions were solved in form of the Museums and afterwards Science Centres which are the source learning in the informal settings. There were many Science centres developed in the last century to fulfil the public requirement about science learning and they changed with time according to the change in the visitors‘ attitude and their need.
